Large Apartments
Each apartment features two large double bedrooms, a big open plan kitchen / living / dining, large deck, storage cupboards and basement parking for two cars. There are four apartments in each block and the blocks are repeated but are at different heights and orientations to give each one a unique aspect. Efficiencies in the construction documentation and building work were achieve by recycling the blocks and the floor plans. The walls are constructed in precast tilt slab which were quick to erect and the floors are concrete which provides good sound insulation and fire protection between the apartments. This North Shore apartment development, which was a collaboration with Hornby Architects, was a great success, the apartments sold quickly and for good prices.
